Why not refresh those memories by availing of our ‘Shoebox’ photo scan deal.
Image Resolution:
The photos are processed through an automated scanner at 300ppi, (generally considered industry standard quality) and saved as jpeg files.
The scanned photos are saved to USB memory stick which is shown in the sale price.
Size:
The following requirements are necessary for batch scanning:
Photos must be between 3.5’ x 5’ and 5’ x 7’. Separate the photos in bundles according to their size. (Ensure that horizontal images are orientated correctly and that vertical images are lying horizontally, left to right).
Quality:
1) No mounted or framed prints
2) No sellotape, post-its or staples on photos
3) No adhesive on photos (if they had been stuck in an album or behind clear adhesive sheets)
4) No torn or bents photos
5) No Polaroid or instant photos
Photos that don’t meet these requirements can be scanned individually by flat bed scanner (See Scanning Photos).
The photos are saved into folders named by you (e.g. 1995-Summer- Tenerife, 1999- Jim & Mary’s wedding). There must be a minimum of 30 photos for each folder. Where there is a large number of folders, they can be sub-divided into year folders.

How does Delivery/Return work?
Callers welcome by appointment.
Parcels/packages of materials for scanning can be sent through An Post or Parcel Motel to the following address:
McG Photoscan,
36 Brookwood Park,
Artane, Dublin D05V271.
Parcels/packages will be returned by courier at a minimum cost of €10 (not included in pricing).
Alternate arrangements for collection can be agreed with the client.
How do you take payment?
Payment can be made through PayPal or Revolut.
PayPal
When the order is complete, an email will be sent to you with a PayPal request setting out the total costs including return of photos etc. The PayPal Request also enables you to pay directly by Credit or Debit Card if you are not a PayPal account holder.
Revolut
When the order is complete, a Revolut request for payment will be sent to the mobile phone number provided by you
On receipt of payment, the requested order and delivered package will be forwarded to you.
