Scanning Photos
Description
All photographs which do not meet the “shoebox” criteria may be scanned individually on a high quality flatbed scanner.
Photographs up to A4 size can be facilitated. However if the photographs are mounted on or stuck to cardboard, they would have to be viewed before a decision is made.
Photographs that are soiled by glue or dirt may possibly not be suitable as they may damage the scanner optics.
Photographs in albums can be scanned, depending on the method used to adhere them to the album pages. A consultation (a chat!) with the customer is necessary before agreement is reached.
All photos are scanned at one-to-one sizing, although photos can be enlarged if required.
Pricing
From €15
The following are the prices for individual scanning @300ppi:
Single photo up to 5x7 inch size: €15 and €2.00 each from then on.
Single photo from 8x6 inch to A4 size: €18 and €3.00 each from then on.

How does Delivery/Return work?
Callers welcome by appointment.
Parcels/packages of materials for scanning can be sent through An Post or Parcel Motel to the following address:
McG Photoscan,
36 Brookwood Park,
Artane, Dublin D05V271.
Parcels/packages will be returned by courier at a minimum cost of €10 (not included in pricing).
Alternate arrangements for collection can be agreed with the client.
How do you take payment?
Payment can be made through PayPal or Revolut.
PayPal
When the order is complete, an email will be sent to you with a PayPal request setting out the total costs including return of photos etc. The PayPal Request also enables you to pay directly by Credit or Debit Card if you are not a PayPal account holder.
Revolut
When the order is complete, a Revolut request for payment will be sent to the mobile phone number provided by you
On receipt of payment, the requested order and delivered package will be forwarded to you.
